![]() I also thought going back to the old 2666MHz RAM yesterday would solve it thinking that the new 3600MHz RAM was too much to handle, but nope, I got the AMD driver timeout error again this morning. At least my CPU and GPU run 30C+ cooler now after all that. I was hoping the cleaning and switch to another computer case would solve my problem because of some dusty or loose connection somewhere, but of course not. The RX 480 also now runs almost as cool as the now water cooled 5600 after I replaced the old dried out stock paste with Kryonaut. ![]() The R5 5600 was using the old R7 1700's wraith spire with Kryonaut, so it was fine. This only happened during peak heat hours here in Southern California where my window AC unit has trouble keeping up when it's over 100F outside. Two weeks ago I switched to the "Flow" edition of the NZXT H510 ATX case, and added an MSI MAG CoreLiquid 240R V2 after my PC had suddenly turned off a couple of times after the 8GB RX 480 reached 95C while gaming. Both happening along with CPU and RAM upgrade. The only other recent changes I've done to it since 2017 have been the addition of a WiFi 6 PCIe card, and a switch to Windows 11. ![]() It's had an R7 1700 and 16GB of 2666MHz RAM since early 2017, but after that recent BIOS from July, I upgraded it to an R5 5600 non X/G and 16GB of 3600MHz RAM. Guys I keep getting these AMD driver timeout errors after recent upgrades to my PC that's using a B350 GAMING PRO CARBON motherboard.
